As a pre-fathers' day post, we wanted to share another blog with you.
Matt, the author of this blog, is a strong and devoted father to a beautiful 11-week old daughter, Madeline. Matt's wife, Liz, passed away just 27-hours after Madeline's birth due to causes unrelated to the deliery. She never even had the chance to hold her baby girl.
Whether you need a good cry or you need to be remided of the strength of the human spirit, Matt's blog will serve. He and Madeline continue to be in our prayers, and we ask that you remember them in your own.

Jane, did you know that was the same thing that killed Meg? I had never heard of a pulmonary embolism before. I wonder how common it really is.
